Agra, a city up north near Delhi, is home to the Taj Mahal.
We took the 2nd class sleeper from Mumbai to Agra, about a 20-hour trip, and definitely memorable.
Our first glimpse of the Taj -- a cake the hotel cafe.
Perhaps the most beautiful mausoleum in the world.
As would be expected, you see all sorts of different people at the Taj.
That guy's from Russia, wearing a traditional Russian hat.
We had a number of different tuk tuk drivers in Agra, all with very distinct personalities.
The above photo and the two below were taken at the thriving market area near Jama Mosque.
I couldn't decide which photo I liked better, so I posted them both.
They're pushing some sort of traveling bandwagon, loaded with musical instruments.
